His Artwork

Aarons artwork combines a childlike fixation on funny creatures and odd hybrids with a peculiar, nightmarish monumentalism. Bold colors and watercolored, colorblock backgrounds frame the pieces, while fairytale-ish spotlights illuminate key players. But the key is the absolute believability of his completely fantastical, fabricated reality. Whatever the assignment, his work is always highly original and strikingly recognizable. His drawings force a sweeping pocket of strangely comforting completion, an aesthetic brace that lets us refocus our attention, however temporarily.

About Aaron

Aaron was born in Great Yarmouth, England and was fortunate enough to spend his childhood scattered across the world. He attended Ringling College of Art and Design where he received a BFA in Illustration. After spending a few years in Florida after graduation he moved to Georgia in order to focus solely on his art. His artwork has appeared in numerous publications and galleries throughout the US and abroad. Aaron lives and works in Atlanta with his beautiful and inspiring wife Jen and their baby boy, Jude.
